Technology Help for Parents and Students

"Parent Technology Night"

Good afternoon Prince George Families,

This message is to let you know of an upcoming opportunity for parents to have questions about their child's devices and Google Classroom answered as part of our first-ever "Parent Technology Night" sessions coming later this month.

During each two-hour session, our team will cover the basics of how to use a Google Chromebook, including powering on the device, logging in, connecting to WiFi internet, and basic troubleshooting steps, along with the basics of how to use Google Classroom, covering topics such as logging onto the platform, how students view and submit their assignments to their teachers, what involvement parents have, and much more.

There will also be an open question-and-answer session to conclude each session where you can have your specific questions answered by our team. We encourage you to bring the device you are using at home for virtual/remote instruction.

"Parent Technology Night" Event Details:

Links to the registration form can also be found on the front page of the school division's website, http://pgs.k12.va.us. We are here to support our families and we look forward to seeing you at our sessions. Thank you and have a wonderful evening.
